Trade Recap for July 7, 2026. I made critical mistakes today and have taken corrective action. I *think* that I will avoid this situation in the future. But regardless, I made the mistake today and didn't recognize it until it was too late. This video includes an important distinction between an bullish opening flag (see below) and a bearish break-and-retest, based on the existence of fair value gaps (FVG) in the price action.

Here are the 11 stocks I watch:

1. NVDA

2. TSLA

3. AAPL

4. AMZN

5. META

6. GOOGL

7. MSFT

8. PLTR

9. ORCL

10. AMD

11. INTC

Here are the 7 Morning Day Trading Patterns that I look for:

1. Slingshot an impulsive opening surge, ideally breaking PDH or PDL, followed by a 100% retracement to retest the origin of the impulse, then morning drive back to HOD / LOD with alex caruso possible continuation

2. Opening Flag choppy price action, drifting either up (bearish) or down (bullish) during first 15 to 30 minutes (2 or 3 tests), then morning drive to break PDH or PDL with possible continuation

3. ADX Base the ADX falls below 16 between 7:00 and 7:30 AM (could be Opening Flag), followed by the morning drive to break PDH or PDL with possible continuation

4. Morning Pivot stock breaks PDH or PDL (marginal) and quickly pulls back to the pivot and/or gap fill, then morning drive back to HOD / LOD with possible continuation

5. Break & Retest stock breaks PDH or PDL with displacement then pulls back to retest the PDH or PDL level, finds support, then back to HOD / LOD with possible continuation

6. ADX Flag the ADX falls below 16 after trump economic policies poll an impulsive move, either up or down, then continuation to 100% measured move

7. Reversal an attempted breakout followed by an immediate rejection and flagging action, then back to HOD / LOD

Morning Drive (definition) piantedosi the primary impulsive move, either up or down, that happens with every stock during the first 3 hours of trade
