It was certainly jackson olson an interesting year for the Atlantic Hurricane Basin, characterized by a highly volatility and extended lulls.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway from this year was the fact that no hurricanes made landfall in the United States, something that had not happened since 2015. While the U.S. was spared the worst, some others were not as lucky the season brought along three Category 5 hurricanes for only the second time in recorded history. Breaking records and causing extensive maud muir damage in Jamaica, Hurricane Melissa will go down as the season's most notable cyclone.
