| Event Detail: Serving Central Arizona since 1985, Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona (HFHCAZ), an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is an independent, locally run, nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization. Habitat helps families of low and moderate incomes become homeowners by building and partnering in the creation of affordable housing. HFHCAZ also builds community partnerships that promote spiritual values and individual responsibility.
The Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona affiliate is one of the most active of the Habitat affiliates and is consistently listed in the top ten among the nearly 1,600 Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the United States.
We have built, renovated and repaired more than 825 homes in the metro Phoenix area. We have served families in Avondale, Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Glendale, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Surprise and Tempe.

| Event Detail: St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, the world's first food bank, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that alleviates hunger by efficiently gathering and distributing food to sites that serve the hungry. Serving two-thirds of Arizona's 15 counties, the organization is committed to volunteerism, building community relationships and improving the quality of life for Arizonans in need.
St. Mary's Food Bank takes very seriously and with unmatched pride its commitment as a responsible non-profit organization that is accountable to the community it serves. Over five decades, St. Mary's has tackled the challenge of easing hunger in Arizona through the vision of founder John van Hengel.
Keeping pace with the incredible upturn in need that has followed the poor economic climate and the huge rise in unemployment and underemployment, the Food Bank distributed more than 74 million pounds of food in Fiscal Year 2010-11 to meets the needs of the ever-rising number of Arizona's hungry - providing enough food into the community to provide nearly 275,000 meals per day.
