About NUST

NUST is ranked among the world’s top 400 universities and Asia’s top 100 universities. NUST is committed to play its part and contribute towards the mission of nation-building. The current visit has been planned as a follow up to the multi-tier strategy engagement strategy in the USA, reaching out to different communities; including businesses, corporate, and Pakistani Diasporas, to build awareness about NUST as Pakistan’s premier higher education institute (HEI), and to build partnerships.

The Cause

With 3.7 % acceptance rate; our classrooms educate the best minds of the nation. Nearly 500 of these students, out of 2,500 in each intake, are coming from the marginalized sector and can never even dream of a university degree.  Currently, 1387 such students are enrolled at NUST and receiving financial aid to pursue their degree. We want to connect with Pakistani Diaspora and encourage them to join our cause of nation building through donations, and ambassadorship.

If you are interested in learning more about NUST and its various initiatives for talented students please join us at the event dated above.

Dear Respected Pakistani American Community Members,

As you know, Pakistan is one of the top 10 countries with the lowest access to clean water, according to a latest study. The study entitled “The Water Gap — The State of the World’s Water 2018”, by WaterAid, was released on Thursday to mark World Water Day.

The Human Necessity Foundation was founded in July 2015 by Junaid Jamshed as a CHARITABLE NOT-FOR-PROFIT TAX-EXEMPT 501(C)3 organization. Our purpose is to provide clean drinking water to people in need. This severe water problem was highlighted by the media where in some areas death was pronounced due to people not having access to clean drinking water, especially in the remote areas of Pakistan. Therefore the foundation commenced, installing Solar Water Plants worldwide. The objective of the foundation is very clear, to help people who are becoming victims of drinking contaminated water and those that have no water. People that have no access to clean drinking water, no electricity and no proper roads deserve the most basic requirement for life, WATER.

The majority of the population living in remote areas is suffering from various health diseases such ashepatitis B and C, chronic illnesses, cancer, abnormal bone growth, tooth loss/decay, memory loss, depression and in rare cases worms growing in the body by drinking contaminated water. What we do differently is how water is provided to people. We specialize in ONLY installing Solar Water Plants. These plants are state of the art, very reliable and are the only solution for people living in such conditions.

We humbly request, please join us on April 27th, 2019 for fundraising dinner at 7pm. Please see attached flyer for more details. Or you can use the following link to donate your Zakat money for this great cause.
